History of Danny Kitainik
I have over 40 years experience in the Music and Entertainment sector, starting at the age of 17 when I joined a rock band and manufactured our own PA system including a 14 channel inline mixing desk – with fitted gate and compressors on each input!
In my days as a young student, I set up a small Sound Systems company with a couple of friends, providing Sound services and DJing for parties and big events and this marked the start of my passion for music, electronics and sound engineering.
During my early years working for the Encore Group and heading their service department, I evaluated sound equipment and most specifically, speaker systems for their touring and sound systems installation’s needs. My particular skill-blend within the area of electronics and audio engineering has enabled me to evaluate not just sound quality, but also performance and reliability.
From the early 80’s I worked as a freelance Sound Engineer for several London based PA companies, agencies and venues: RNSS, Dingwalls, London Astoria, The Borderline, Break for the Border, The Forum and Town & Country, Electric Ballroom and Bad Bobs, to name just a few. In addition to this, I worked in the same capacity on many festivals tours and West End shows.
I have had the privilege and great pleasure to have worked with the likes of Salif Keïta, KD Lang, Curtis Mayfield, Dogs d’Amour, Road Side Picnic, Brand New Heavies, 808 State, Tim Westwood (Capital Radio), Kiss FM (Base), Grey Ghost, Incognito, The Happy Mondays, Toto, and many more, covering a wide spectrum from Jazz to Rock and Heavy Metal through to Country and Soul.
Throughout my career I have work with Musicians, Producers, Promoters and Venue owners, corporate and broadcast. I am extremely familiar with this industry and now the customers of Serenityaudio can benefit from my rich knowledge and experience.
